Broken teeth

Tooth pain

Tooth pain is a symptom of a deeper issue. It can result from an unseen fracture, infection, or decay. Pain is likely due to the inner part, the pulp chamber, or the roots being compromised. In older teens, it may result from impacted wisdom teeth. Try a cold compress or over-the-counter pain medications until the emergency pediatric dentist can get them in for an appointment to determine the cause. However, do not wait for an appointment because it can result in more extensive damage and, therefore, procedures.
